Grief Knows No Religion.

I've always believed that no entire community can be blamed for the actions of a few—it’s the individuals and their twisted mindsets that are at fault, not the communities they come from. What happened was tragic beyond words. Terrorism, in any form, is inhuman. It may have targeted people of a specific faith, but its tremors are felt by all. The pain, the fear—it transcends borders, religions, and identities. It shakes the soul of every human being. But amidst all this, who truly bears the brunt of it? The common man. The 'आम आदमी'. In the aftermath of such a tragedy, the instinctive reaction of some have been to boycott shops and businesses owned by members of the Muslim community. This response, born out of pain and anger, only deepens the divide. And I can’t help but wonder—how does this serve justice? How does this bring peace? A Hindu—just a regular citizen—lost his life in that violent act. And now, a Muslim—again, a regular citizen—faces unjust consequences here. T...

Perfectly Flawed!!

In this period of lockdown when everybody was restricted from stepping out and meeting our dear ones, surprisingly I met somebody whom I did not see from a really long time, whose company I used to cherish and adore it the way it was without any discomfort. And guess who it was?? "THE LOST ME!" Yes, I met myself, I discovered that side of me again, which was lost in today's world of perfection. The world where every now and then you get judged because of your looks, the way you carry yourself or simply the way you are.  Please do not get offended if I put this bitter actuality here which is indeed experienced by each one of us, because of our "skin colour, excess body hair, body shape, pimpled face" . You people must be thinking that what is the connection of " the lost me" & all these "flaws". Pata hai wo ek time tha jab Maa baalo me tel lagakar champu banakr school bheja karti thi aur pyarse hamare gaal odhkar kehti thi, "मेरा रा...

What is your definition of feminism?

Image
I am very sure when you people read this title, you must have got a thought that I'm going to raise my voice in support of FEMINISM...Right?? Unfortunately NO! The actual definition of feminism which is known by everybody is "the belief that women should have the same rights and opportunities as men" There was a time when women were not allowed to work, to go out late at night, to wear (jeans, shorts, etc), to stand for oneself, to choose their life partner, to be a single mother. And if talking about today's scenario women are free to do above mentioned things, they are free to raise their voices, they are free to be a single mother, they can even lead a group of men boldly. After reading this many of the women must be having a question regarding "being judged by men" but if I am not wrong then the women not only get judged by men they even get judged by another woman. One can only see a group or mob of women together, only when they are raising their voi...

In a race to cope up with the trends, are we forgetting our "संस्कार"?

Image
We are living in the Era of glamour, fashion, style. In a world where every new thing in our life becomes part of our Instagram story. Every day we are trying to cope up with some new things even though we are least interested in it, why? Because " it's the trend". But have you ever noticed something, in a race to maintain our social life and updating our way of thinking to the modern mentality; we've started getting detached from our parents, especially our grandparents. While talking about grandparents, it reminds me of the lyrics from the song "ऐसा देश है मेरा" which said " रोज सुनाए दादी-नानी एक परियो की कहानी, ऐसा देश है मेरा !" But these days due to our so-called modern mentality & privacy quotient we prefer to get separated where we forget about our grandparents and instead of calling them our family members we choose to call them as a "RESPONSIBILITY". Let me be a bit harsh here, a responsibility that nobody wants to take....
